I saw this picture and knew I had to draw it, I connected with the look the mother bear is giving her cub as it reminded me of the look I give my son when he wants to be carried or when he wants something and I cannot say no to his ‘Please mum’ plea. It is the look of motherly love with the hint of defeat of giving into your child’s requests.
