Nicola Osborne, is an artist developing her artistic style.

Qualifying as an art teacher after her illustration degree, she taught art for 20 years locally.

Nicola is an intuitive painter. She enjoys the emergence of shapes and marks. Her work is often based on the natural world. The use of colour is integral to her work. She makes paintings that create reactions to the play of colour combinations and their effects on the viewer.

Colin McAllister lives in Wivenhoe, England. His recent exhibitions include ‘Global Weirding’, at The Sentinel Gallery, Wivenhoe (2022), and ‘Watching the World’, at The Minories, Colchester (2017). McAllister’s group exhibitions include ‘Colchester Past and Present’ at both The Sentinel Gallery, Wivenhoe, and Level Best Gallery, Colchester (2023) and ‘Levels of Detail’ at the Old Grocery, Wivenhoe (2023). After fourteen years employed as an art facilitator working with disabled adults, McAllister is now a freelance artist showing and delivering workshops in Colchester and surrounding areas.

I am a Colchester Artist born and bred having grown up around the Prettygate area near Lexden. I was a local Dj for thirty eight years (now retired from)and have been using photography as a means of artistic impression for fifteen years or so.

Eddie Campbell moved to Colchester 13 years ago, but has always loved photography and art, drawing pencil portraits of family friends, pop idols and taking photographs.

Anne Slater is a Colchester based photographer whose love of symmetry and mid century architecture have combined to create her distinctive style.

Hello, my name is Emma Emerson and I am the owner of Keepsakes and Portraits. I am a realism artist, specialising in pet, wildlife and human portraiture. I create drawings using coloured pencils, soft pastels and graphite pencils. 

I created my business because of my passion for drawing and the natural world. I get so much satisfaction every time I create a drawing and I wanted to create a business where I can share my passion to the world and capture memories for people that will remain as keepsakes forever.
